A French Macaron

The macaron is everywhere in France, and starts to be very famous here in the US too.

The first time I had a Macaron in Paris was in Laduree. I don't know if the SeaSalt Caramel I tried was or not a dangerous choice : Oh my God, in one bite, I became Macaron's addicted !!!

First time when I arrive

When I decided to start Emilie your French Chef, I couldn't imagine Cooking Classes without a Macaron's Class. And I am so proud to see how it is a great success.

I love everything about Macarons. I have many reasons to tell why the macarons is a star, here are 3 :

1- it is so beautiful : this smooth and glossy cookie that you can make in so many different colors ...

2- it is so delicate : crunchy outside and chewy inside, each bite is a trip in heaven !!

3- it is so tasty : Vanilla, SeaSalt Caramel,Coffee, Mango, Chocolate, Pistachios, Strawberry, Rose, Coconut, and more ... Do you know another treat which can have so many flavors ?

OK, I am a Macaron lover BUT, there is one thing that I don't like about Macaons : one Macaron calls another Macaron. It is too hard to resist to these little precious ;-)

As all my Macarons and my fillings have no fat ... I don't feel guilty that much !

Don't feel guilty too, and just enjoy ;-)
